The Account Coordinator is responsible for project management and coordination of team tasks and deliverables as directed. This role also requires client interaction and communication for assigned accounts. The Account Coordinator reports directly to the lead Client Experience Manager in the assigned portfolio.

Key functions and accountabilities for the role include: 

Project Management and Coordination

  • Management and coordination of team tasks/deliverables as directed by the lead CE 
  • Take effective notes from meetings capturing all key information, decisions and action items
  • Prepare presentations for clients

Support the CE Lead

  • Support the CE lead with accurate, timely, detail-oriented work
  • Coordinate task assignments, project management via Mavenlink and ensure accuracy of data and adherence to process
  • Complete all support activities as assigned by the CE lead
  • Be secondary point of contact for key accounts managed by CE lead and ensure timely client response as needed

Oversight and Ownership of Small Accounts

  • Ongoing management of agreed upon services
  • Review monthly performance report, collaborate with assign team members to monitor performance of account
  • Prepare agenda and presentation for client meetings and review findings with client (with support from team)
  • Manage and build an ongoing relationship with client
  • Review monthly invoices for accuracy
  • Manage profitability of accounts


  • One to two years of agency, or marketing experience 
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent oral and non-verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present ideas, negotiate and problem solve
  • Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong interpersonal skills, for working with a range of colleagues and clients
  • A professional manner and desire to deliver superb customer service
  • An obsessive attention to detail
  • A bachelor’s degree 



  • Has held leadership positions in organization (as part of extracurricular activities)
  • Shows an entrepreneurial spirit and initiative to lead or participate in marketing or PR-related activities
